Shaft Adapters

Our step-down adapters are useful for making connections with smaller shafts. They utilize clamp-style coupling ends to prevent shaft marring. Available for use as is with no welding required, these shaft adapters are fully machinable, allowing for configuration and size alterations to suit your needs.

These keyed shaft adapters also serve to make shafts smaller. Featuring keyways, they offer additional torque capacity over standard step-down adapters as well as fixed shaft phasing. Welding is again unnecessary for these products, and they’re completely machinable for configuration and size modifications.

This variety of shaft adapter is used to enlarge a shaft. Like our step-down adapter types, step-up shaft adapters come ready to use as is without needing any welding, and they’re machinable based on your configuration and sizing needs. Their clamp-type coupling end will better protect your shaft from marring.

The step-up shaft adapter with keyways shares all the benefits and properties of the standard step-up adapter. However, the addition of keyways enables these products to deliver added torque capacity. They also enable fixed shaft phasing.

This versatile shaft adapter type is thoroughly machinable, giving you the option to step down, step up, or extend a shaft. You can also choose to alter its configuration, with square, hex, and threaded modifications available. The machinable Shaft Adapter Max allows for pulleys, drive slots, press-fits, and other specialty components.

As with standard varieties, the Shaft Adapter Max with Keyways allows you to step down, step up, or extend a shaft as it’s completely machinable. It’s also modifiable for a square, hex, or threaded shaft configuration, with specialty components like pulleys, drive slots, and press-fits. However, the Shaft Adapter Max with Keyways increases torsional holding power and enables fixed shaft phasing for vibration reduction.

Threaded shaft adapters effectively connect a threaded bore with a smooth shaft. Their clamp-style coupling end eliminates the risk of shaft marring. With no welding required, these adapters are entirely machinable, with the potential to alter their dimensions and configurations.

Like standard threaded shaft adapters, these adapters with keyways feature a clamp-type coupling end for shaft marring prevention.
