The Python Flange Mounting Collar is similar in features, operation, and applications to the Python Flange Collar, with a manual, lever-operated, split-hub clamp; a Flip-Lok mechanism; and a thumbscrew tension nut to create stops. However, this collar — available from stock in aluminum, with other materials and/or anodizing available upon request — has mounting holes, a six-hole bolt pattern, and a keyway. It has an axial load capacity of 200 lbs. and has a round bore, with hex, square and threaded bores available on request.

Like a Flip-Lok clamping mechanism and stop collar in one, the new Python Flange Collar has the versatility to fit various shafts with a split hub. It doesn’t have a mounting feature but acts as a mounting surface. It uses an integral lever-adjustable clamp for simple, one-handed repositioning without a wrench, and a thumbscrew tension nut to tighten the clamp and set up stops with an engaged lever. It’s applicable for just about any linear or low-RPM rotary task, making the collar ideal for laboratory machinery, packaging and bagging equipment, and paper rolls.
