New Products   New Applications       Stafford In The News 316 Stainless Steel Shaft Collars & Couplings for Harsh Environments Stafford’s line of 316 stainless steel shaft collars and rigid shaft couplings resist harsh chemicals, solvents, detergents, and salt water. Designed for a wide range of applications in corrosive environments, these collars are offered in 1/4” to 10” I.D. sizes and the rigid couplings come in 1/4” to 3” sizes. Shaft Collars Simplify Maintenance, Reduce Downtime Stafford’s Maintenance Shaft Collars are available from stock for immediate delivery, and include remachineable collar kits that feature eight sizes as well as an Overstock Parts List of first quality production overruns that are offered at up to 80% off their original cost. Custom Flange Mounting Collars Stafford’s Custom Flange Mounting Collars incorporate an integral nonmarring clamping feature with a perfectly square flange for mounting a shaft, tube, or pipe to a flat surface or for attaching drive components and other devices. Fabricated to match user requirements, these collars can be made from various alloys in a wide range of configurations. Ready-to-Paint Shaft Collars Stafford’s new line of steel shaft collars are surface prepared to enable OEMs and contract manufacturers paint them for exact “color brand” matching. Machined from steel in one- and two-piece clamp-type styles the collars are then phosphate coated, along with their clamp screws, to prepare them for painting. Shaft Coupling Adapters Simplify Drive Upgrades and Repairs Stafford’s standard line of Rigid Shaft Coupling Adapters can be modified to solve a wide range of shaft mating problems. They can be supplied with keyways and other I.D. modifications to the clamping end and the output shafts can be produced in threaded, tapered, keyed, and hex and square configurations.
